Dr. Jacqueline Ward, MD, PhD, has been board-certified in internal medicine since 1999. A proud native of Cincinnati, she graduated with the highest honors in Nutrition Science from Purdue University. Following this achievement, she earned her PhD in Immunology and her medical degree through the prestigious Medical Scientist Training Program Fellowship at The Ohio State University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
Dr. Ward's impressive accolades include the Medical Scientist Award, the Department of Internal Medicine Outstanding Senior Award, and her induction into the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her internal medicine residency and an NIH-sponsored cancer research fellowship at Ohio State, gaining invaluable experience in both patient care and research.
In 2002, Dr. Ward took on the role of Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Ohio State. She returned to her hometown of Cincinnati in 2004, where she joined Alliance Primary Care. In 2010, she became part of Mercy Health. Over her 20-year career, she has provided compassionate patient care and held various leadership roles. Her focus has been optimizing medical informatics, providing support, and training to enhance patient experiences.

Currently, Dr. Ward sees patients aged 18 and older at the Kenwood location. She specializes in preventive care, cancer survivorship, and the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension. To further enhance her skills, Dr. Ward is pursuing advanced credentials in menopause management, ensuring she can provide comprehensive care tailored to women's health needs.
Dr. Ward cherishes time spent with her husband and two daughters outside of her medical practice. She is also an avid fitness enthusiast and promotes a healthy lifestyle. As part of her concierge medicine practice, Dr. Ward is dedicated to empowering her patients and ensuring they receive personalized and inclusive care that meets their unique health needs.
