Dr. Westmoreland's journey in medicine began with a strong educational foundation. She earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Spanish and Biology from Wofford College, showcasing her diverse interests and commitment to understanding both the human body and cultural communication. Her pursuit of medical knowledge led her to the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, where she obtained her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Following this, Dr. Westmoreland completed her Family Medicine Residency at Seneca Lakes Family Medicine Residency, further honing her skills in comprehensive patient care.

With over a decade of dedicated service in rural family health, Dr. Westmoreland has become a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician through the American Academy of Family Medicine. Her commitment to specialized care is evident in her certification as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, and she is currently a candidate for the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, reflecting her dedication to holistic wellness.
