Meet Dr. Shazia Chaudhry

Hey there,

I'm Dr. Shazia Chaudhry, and I'm thrilled to connect with you on a more personal level. Cincinnati, Ohio is where I've always called home. I grew up here, attending Summit Country Day and then taking my academic journey to Kent State University. In just two years, I earned my BS degree in biology before my path led me to medical school in Pakistan. That's where life took an exciting turn – I got married, lived there for five years, and proudly graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College.

In 2001, my husband and I made our way back to Cincinnati. I embarked on my Internal Medicine residency at The University of Cincinnati. Fast forward, and now I'm a proud mother of three amazing kids – aged 21, 19, and 15. We've been rooted in Mason, Ohio for the past 14 years, creating a wonderful life here.

Over the span of my 18-year career, I've primarily worked as a Hospitalist, caring for patients from admission to discharge. Along the way, I've gained valuable experience with acutely ill patients, those managing chronic conditions, and those seeking wellness in the outpatient setting. My journey into medicine was driven by a deep love for humanity and the desire to help others.

However, in my time as a Hospitalist, I often felt a sense of disconnection. I longed for the chance to truly connect with my patients, to build relationships, and to have a more profound impact on their lives. The desire to provide that personal touch led me to explore outpatient medicine. Many in my community expressed the need for a "good female doctor" who could understand their needs and journey. Feeling compelled to fulfill that role, I took a step back from Hospitalist Medicine.

In this pursuit, I reached out to Dr. Lisa Larkin, a colleague from my time at the Women's Center at UC. I was drawn to her passion for women's health and midlife care. Dr. Larkin welcomed me into the Ms.Medicine and Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati family. This transition has been fueled by my dedication to women's health and a comprehensive approach to care.

I'm excited to announce that I'll be starting at the new office in Mason, Ohio. My focus will be on providing healthcare for adults aged 16 and older, with special attention to midlife women and beyond. This fall, I'll also be obtaining certification as a Menopause provider, allowing me to address the unique needs and changes that occur during this stage of life.

At our practice, we've adopted the Concierge model, which means I'll be able to spend more time with each patient. This personalized approach aligns with my commitment to thoroughly understanding your medical history, needs, and lifestyle for effective treatment plans. Through timely office visits, phone calls, texts, and virtual appointments, I aim to cater to your preferences and offer flexibility to your busy life.

When I'm not practicing medicine, I cherish moments with my family, friends, and community. I'm a Bengals fan, I love the great outdoors, traveling, practicing yoga, and indulging in a good read.

Your well-being is my top priority, and I'm genuinely excited about this journey to optimize your health. I'm here to build a strong doctor-patient relationship and ensure your healthcare experience is truly exceptional.

Thank you for entrusting me with your care.
